NEDERLAND FARMERS MARKET'S 'LOCAL FOOD SHARE PROGRAM'

WHAT YOU GET

Produce distributions will consist of a variety of seasonal vegetables (and some fruits) from different farms across Boulder County, the greater front range area, and the western slope of Colorado (our tree-fruits). All produce is sourced with sustainable growing practices, proximity, and freshness as the main criteria. An average share consists of 5-7 produce items and can weigh anywhere between 5-10 lbs.

PARTICIPATE IN ONE OF TWO WAYS

1) Sign up to become a member. This will entitle you to a weekly distribution for every week in our market season. For convenience, we can take a one time advance payment or can set up a weekly EBT payment. You can now also sign up as a bi-weekly member and receive your shares either on market weeks or off-market weeks.

2) Purchase shares weekly. Our order window opens each week between Sunday midnight and Wednesday midnight, for distribution on the following Sunday.

Each week you can add on additional items! Eggs, honey, dairy, meat products, and seasonal fruit cases will be available this year. Weekly or bi-weekly add-on subscriptions can be arranged by contacting our produce manager

PROGRAM DETAILS

 

Our distribution is a market-style pick-up. Bring your own bag, and collect your items from the table. We will have most items pre-portioned for your convenience. ​​
